The Presidential Candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Nola Tinubu on Sunday in Daura, Katsina State , announced senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate in the 2023 election.

Tinubu made the announcement shortly after holding a close door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari who is currently on Sallah holiday in Daura.

He had told newsmen that the Placeholder, Alhaji Kabir Masari had resigned as his running mate earlier in the day, thereby paving the way for him to pick
Senator Kashim Shettima.

1. Kashim Shettima was born on September 2nd, 1966.
