The Kogi State Head of Service, Dr. Elijah Adeiza Evinemi, has expressed deep sadness over the death of a former Deputy Governor of the state, Chief Patrick Adaba

Evinemi in a statement released on Monday in Lokoja, described the deceased as a distinguished statesman and an icon whose contributions to national and state development left an indelible mark.

He said the legacy of the former Deputy Governor sets him apart as a role model for present and future generations, particularly his unwavering commitment to good governance, leadership and community development, which will continue to inspire excellence and selfless service.

While commiserating with his family, associates, and the entire Kogi State, the Head of Civil Service prayed for divine comfort for those he left behind and the repose of his soul.
