Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State will Today, Tuesday, 9th July 2024, flag off a soft loan scheme aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in the state.
The initiative, is a collaboration between the Ekiti State Government and Access Bank Plc.
Under the initiative, women will be provided with low-interest rate loans to boost their businesses, thereby helping them access vital working capital.
Speaking , Mrs. Tayo Adeola, the State Commissioner for Trade, Industries, Investment, and Cooperatives, said the goal is to bridge financial gaps and support women’s business aspirations, significantly impacting the state’s economy.
The Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye will lead a ‘road walk’ as part of the program today in Ado Ekiti.
The road walk is to sensitise market women, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders about the scheme’s benefits. (vitalnewsngr.com)
