Abuja – The North-Central Parliamentarians Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council says the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will ensure a better and secured Nigeria, if voted into power.

The group made the assertion in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja.

The statement was signed by a former Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Bello, who is the Secretary of the North-Central Parliamentarians Directorate.

Bello said the agenda the former Lagos State Governor,Tinubu, and his Vice-Presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima have in mind and articulated so far in this campaign is for a better, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria in 2023 and beyond.

He thereby urged Nigerians to support the aspirations of the duo, and the party, respectively, to run the affairs of the nation, after the expiration of the tenure of outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari.

Bello, who is also a member of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, noted that the North-Central Parliamentarians Committee, of the party, has in the last few weeks, tranversed every part of the geopolitical zone, presenting to the voters the specific agenda of the Tinubu/Shettima action plan.

“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, have well canvassed the reassuring message toward providing progressive good governance during the various fora while having interface with different segments of our citizenry, and to this we’re committed to,” the statement said.

While noting that the purpose of governance is simply for the goodness, well-being and welfare of citizens, it added that “these have been the main thrust of Tinubu/Shettima campaign deliverables as we head into this year’s election.

“We call on voters to have absolute confidence on our presidential candidate and his deputy to perform creditably because of their rich and sound backgrounds in terms of what it takes to ensure good and qualitative governance.

“Asiwaju and Shettima also know that to extinguish the ongoing insecurity and regional agitations nationwide, their government must ensure inclusiveness in order to grant peace to all nook and crannies in our dear country.”

It further assured that “the APC as a party in government and working hard to consolidate beyond 2023, has special focus for the ungoverned space in Nigeria and this is an issue that our party and our next government to be led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is going to tackle headlong in order to turn the currently wasting vast highly yielding agricultural fields into full and maximum productions nationwide.”(vitalnewsngr.com)
