Abeokuta – Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has eulogised Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State on his aggressive approach towards the industrialization of the state.

Otedola , was particularly happy the ongoing construction of Agro Cargo International Airport in the state which he said will attract foreign investors to the state.

Otedola , gave the commendation in a post on his verified social media handle, lauding Abiodun’s giant strides in various masses-oriented projects geared towards sustainable growth in the state.

The businessman who gave his impression after visit to Governor Abiodun
pledged his unalloyed support for the governor and the state through partnership to accelerate even development for the ultimate benefit of Ogun citizenry and Nigerians as a whole.

“I had a great time with my friend, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON. I commended him for his strides in Ogun State, particularly on the ongoing construction of the Agro Cargo International Airport and other people-oriented projects being undertaken by his administration.

“I used the medium to assure him of my continuous support and partnership for the benefit of the good people of Ogun State and Nigeria at large,” Otedola wrote.

It would be recalled that a similar commendation was made by a senior
official of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Brigadier-General Sylvester Oloyede, when he led a delegation of the Senior Executive Course 45, 2023, who were on a study tour to the state.

Oloyede, who spoke on the theme of the tour, “Industrialisatio, Climate Change and Energy Security in Nigeria: Issues, Challenges & Prospects”, commended the state governor for embarking on massive industrial revolution through the construction of the Agro Cargo International Airport.

He was of the opinion that the Cargo Airport would strengthen economic growth in the state, especially in the area of quick and adequate supply of raw materials to the manufacturing sector.

Oloyede, lauded the strategic location of the airport, with its proximity to the Western parts of Nigeria, Lagos -Ibadan expressway, on the southern side and Sagamu-Benin expressway.

In his remarks, Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, said the initiative was targeted towards aggressive industrialization of the state, which is strictly guided by an inherent developmental philosophy of the ISEYA mantra, as entrenched in the state’s distinct agenda, which is Building Our Future Together.

“Whichever way you want to approach the airport, the access to Lagos, the fifth largest economy in Africa and Nigeria’s largest economy, is very easy,” Talabi stated.   (vitalnewsngr.com)
