The Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) is currently holding its 2024 Annual Meetings and Golden Jubilee in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meetings, under the Royal Patronage of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, would run from April 27-30.
The meeting also coincides with the IsDB’s Golden Jubilee, celebrating 50 years of promoting socio-economic development in its 57 member countries.
The theme of the meeting is “Cherishing our Past, Charting our Future : Originality, Solidarity, and Prosperity,” reflects the Bank’s legacy and future goals.
The meetings will also feature a roundtable on COP29 with participation of Azerbaijani government representatives.
Finance ministers, representatives from financial institutions, Islamic finance experts, the private sector, and NGOs are gathering for the meetings.
Top media organizations have also been invited to cover the event.
The agenda includes knowledge-sharing sessions, seminars, and press conferences focused on development, regional cooperation, and Islamic finance. (vitalnewsngr.com)
