Lokoja – A political support group, The Nigeria Unite For Tinubu/Shettima North (NUFTS) says it is set to deliver over 500,000 votes to each of the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) contesting the presidential and national assembly elections in Kogi State on February 25.

Comrade Kunle Ola, the Coordinator of the NUFTS in the state stated this while addressing a press conference in Lokoja on Thursday.

Ola who spoke after a final review of the activities of the group in all the 21 local government areas of the state said that NUFTS is convinced that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate , Kashim Shettima will emerge victorious in the election.

The Coordinator who is also the Special Assistant on Contact and Mobilisation to the Minister of State, FCT, Dr Ramatu Tijani Aliyu said the group is convinced of the victory of Tinubu going by the signals being received from the nook and crannies of the state.

He, however, said the group and other APC support groups spread across the state will not take things for granted until the election is won free and square on February 25.

He appealed to other electorate in the state to join hands with the group yo deliver the state massively to Tinubu and all other APC candidates on February 25.

He described Tinubu as the new face of hope for Nigeria, saying that Tinubu can successfully governed Lagos State for eight years, he will perform better at the national level as Nigeria’s President.

Ola was full of gratitude for Dr Ramatu Tijani Aliyu for for her huge support for the NUFTS in Kogi State and for her untiring efforts to see that Tinubu emerge the new president of Nigeria.

According to him, the free medical outreach programme, free payment of WAEC fee of final year secondary school students and other poverty alleviation programmes the minister organised across the three senatorial districts are well appreciated by the people.

Ola said that the regular philanthropic activities of the Minister had helped a lot to make the campaign and mobilisation activities of NUFTS easier in all the communities visited.

The Coordinators of NUFTS in Kogi West, Kogi East and Kogi Central in their separate remarks promised to work hard to deliver Kogi votes to Tinubu and other candidates of the party.

They stated that they have visited communities, opinion leaders, traditional rulers, professional groups and politicians across political parties to sell Tinubu/Shettima and other candidates of the APC contesting Saturday’s elections.

The Coordinators promised to return to their various zones for mop up campaigns and mobilisation of voters in readiness for the elections.

In their submissions, they also commended Dr Ramatu Tijani Aliyu for her commitment , support and dedication to the Tinubu/Shettima Project in the state.

They promised to reciprocate her good gesture and motherly role by remaining loyal to her and by not betraying her now or in future.

At the press conference are the leaders of NUFTS from the 21 local government areas of the state, zonal and local government Coordinators and other state leaders of the group. (vitalnewsngr.com)
