Ibadan – A prominent traditional ruler in Oyo State, Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Abdul Ganiyy Adekunle Salaudeen Oloogunebi Ajinese has joined his ancestors.
Family sources said the traditional ruler joined his ancestors in the early hours of Sunday, July 24 at the age of 62 years.
The sources further said that he has been sick for a while and has been in and out of hospital but did not give further details as to the actual cause of his death.
Oyo State has in recent times been hit by sudden death of some of its prominent traditional rulers.
Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladunni, Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji and Alafin Oyo, Oba Olayiwola Adeyemi are some of the traditional rulers that have joined their ancestors in the past eight months.
