Oyo – Ninety-one year old law lecturer, Prof. Toriola Ajagbe Oyewo, who was promoted to the rank of senior advocate of Nigeria, SAN, last year is dead.
He died few hours after being rushed to the intensive care unit of the University College, Hospital, Ibadan .
An obviously heartbroken family source said that the academic had been admitted at UCH , following a fatal accident at Ode Omu, on his way to Ede few days ago.
Ninety-year-old Professor Toriola Oyewo was one of the lawyers who recently attained the revered status of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). At 90 years, the Erunmu- Ibadan born Professor of Law was regarded as the oldest lawyer in history to be awarded SAN. (vitalnews)
