Osun – Popular Yoruba movie veteran Actor, John Adewumi, popularly known as Tafa Oloyede has died at the age of 69.
The Ede, Osun State born actor who ventured into acting in 1974 died on Tuesday at his residence at Arowomole, Kajola area, Osogbo, Osun State.
Oloyede who had his tutelage under late Oyin Adejobi, featured in many movies that include “Kootu Asipa ” ‘Jaiyesimi’, ‘Ayanmo’, ‘Ekuro Oloja’, ‘Orogun’, ‘Akanji Oniposi’ that made him popular and others.
Tafa Oloyede who was born on 19th November, 1952 is hardly seen in movies these days; a development that stands as a source of worry to his fans.
He is survived by a wife and children. (vitalnews)
