NIGER/ECOWAS : Military Intervention In Niger
….The struggle of a people against internal and external enemies
By Colonel Abdoulaye Madaba Issifou.
“We had requested troops and military equipment from ECOWAS Member States to neutralize jihadists on the Niger-Nigeria border in August 2021.
They replied that they had no human and material resources available to immediate support.
And added that for such an initiative, it was first necessary to bring together the Heads of ECOWAS Member States and then to settle the question of financial and logistical means on which certain Heads of State are not always able to agree.
Today the same people are ready to send men and materials to restore a head of state whose incompetence and fall has been recognized and accepted by the people of Niger.
For the power of a single person, they are ready to burn Niger, the Sahel, but to save thousands of people in the Sahel who are being massacred by the jihadists, they are weak.
If they want to restore Mohamed Bazoum to power, we will help them restore the corpse of Mohamed Bazoum to power.
They will have the blood of the people on their hands and the first victim will be Mohamed Bazoum, the former head of state of Niger.
The struggle we are waging is so noble that nothing, not even a military coalition, can stop us.
Unlike ECOWAS, which defends hidden interests, we, daughters and sons of Niger, defend our homeland and fight for the take-off of Niger and the survival of our populations.
Niger does not revolve around Mohamed Bazoum and will never revolve around an individual whether civilian or military.
The wealth of Niger belongs to the people of Niger and must benefit the people of Niger.
This is the legitimate struggle we are waging for the survival of Niger against internal and external enemies.
Upright ! Nigerien! Upright !
On the ground and on the wave, To the sound of tom-toms ,In their growing rhythm, Let’s always stay united
And let everyone answer To this noble future
Who says to us : – Forward!
