President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Sunday, October 8, 2023 flag off the governorship campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
Spokesman of the APC Governorship Campaign Council, Kingsley Fanwo, confirmed this in a statement on Friday in Lokoja.
He said the president will be joined by the national Chairman of APC, Dr Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of our great party; His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State and Chairman, APC National Campaign Council for Kogi Governorship Election and other leading members of the party to flag off the campaign.
He said the epoch making event will kick start the journey of APC to victory on November 11, 2023.
Venue of the event is the ultra modern Mohammadu Buhari Square, Lokoja.
“The Kogi State APC Governorship Campaign Council has put modalities in place to ensure a hitch-free Flag off Rally.
