The Member , representing Omala Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar Yahaya has expressed the gratitude and appreciation of the people of the constituency to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for paying official visit to some communities that were recently attacked in Omala Local Government Council.
Governor Ododo had on Saturday visited Bagaji-Odo, Agojeju-Ododo and Bagana communities which were recently attacked by bandits .
Umar appreciated Ododo for finding time out of his tight schedule to visit the ravaged communities.
The Lawmaker thanked who thanked the governor on behalf of the Local Government, critical Stakeholders and the entire people of the Local Government, described Gov. Ododo as people friendly.
He commended him for visiting all the affected areas amidst daunting challenges.
According to Umar, actions displayed by Gov. Ododo throughout the visit has shown and has once again proven his love for the people of the area that in times of challenge and trials he has come to reassure them of their security.
Similarly, the Lawmaker thanked all those in the entourage of the governor.
He thanked the Deputy Governor, Comr. Joel Salifu Oyibo, the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly,
Commissioner’s, as led by Hon. Deedat Ozigi, Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Special Advisers as led by Commodore Jerry Omodara, Special Adviser on Security as well as all the State Service Chiefs and the Commissioner of Police for visiting Omala LGA.
The Lawmaker said the visit by Gov. Ododo and his entourage is a testament that the present administration does not play with the issues of security.
He thanked Gov. Ododo for restating his resolve and commitment to the people of Omala LGA.
He specially expressef satisfaction with the governor’s statement that whatever touches Omala touches him and the entire state , saying that he has by saying this once again rekindled the hope of Omalites in the present administration.
Umar concluded by praying to God to grant the Governor the wisdom hand understanding to continue to pilot the affairs of the State.
