Full List Of President Tinubu’s 65 Ambassadorial Nominees

65th Independence Anniversary : President Tinubu To Address Nigerians

President Bola Tinubu has formally nominated 65 persons, including two former military chiefs, as non-career ambassadors, transmitting the list to the Senate for confirmation.

The nominations for both the career and non-career ambassadors were made in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, specifically Section 171(1), (2)(c), and (4), which “governs such appointments.

The total list of 65 nominees — comprising 34 Career Ambassadors and 31 Non-Career Ambassadors—was listed state-by-state as follows :

The key nominees include Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, the immediate past sole administrator of Rivers State and former Chief of Naval Staff, and Abdulrahman Dambazau, the former Minister of Interior and former Chief of Army Staff.

Also named were Ita Enang, a former Senator, and Chioma Ohakim, the former First Lady of Imo State.
