Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on Saturday carried out an inspection tour of the ongoing Koton Karfe rural electrification project at the Muritala bridge in Koto Karfe.
Bello who was accompanied on the inspection tour by top officials of his administration inspected the installation of the 185mm2 XLPE Cable for the replacement of the undersized 75mm2 XLPE cable currently serving the people Koto Karfe community in Kogi Local Government area.
During the inspection tour, the governor charged the contractors to intensify their efforts so as to promptly and efficient complete thre project.
The governor then expressed satisfaction with the job done done so far .
Bello said when completed, the electrification project will boost the socio-economic well-being of the local populace.
One of the site supervisors, Omachi Atayi, while briefing the governor assured the governor that the project would be completed in time and according to specifications.
