Oluwapelumi Adebayo was said to have come out briefly from his hotel room in the evening of Wednesday and came back within 30 minutes.

And that was the last time workers in the hotel saw him.

However, Oluwapelumi Adebayo, failed to show up to renew his stay at the hotel room this morning.

The development forced the staff on duty to go to his room to knock on the door severally without any response from him.

The staff was said to have called the attention of the hotel manager to the development who also knocked severally on the door of the hotel room without any response from Oluwapelumi Adebayo.

The Manager then decided to peep through the window of the hotel room where he sighted the lifeless body of the Oluwapelumi Adebayo.

The hotel manager then went to the nearby police station to report the incident.

A team of policemen in mufti, said to be aggressive later arrived to force the hotel room open in the presence of the manager and other hotel workers.

Items recovered from the hotel room included an empty can of snipper, a suicide note among others.
