Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan has officially parted ways with Head Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, General Manager Dimeji Lawal, and the entire technical crew.
This major shake-up follows the club’s disappointing performance in the second half of the 2024/2025 NPFL season.
Coach Ogunbote, who returned for his third stint on August 22, 2022, leaves behind a record that includes winning the Doxy Nmobuosi Super Cup, the Oyo State Federation Cup, and the Seyi Makinde Football Volunteer Movement Trophy.
The club is expected to announce a new technical direction in the coming days.
