The Strait of Hormuz has again been closed by Iran
Iran said the closure is due to the insecurity caused by illegal foreign interference.
“The Strait of Hormuz is closed until further notice and until the end of US interventions in this region, and no vessels will be allowed to pass through.
“If the aggressor enemy makes a mistake and carries out a new aggression against us under the pretext of this incident, which he himself caused, we will respond severely and new enemy bases in the region will be targeted.
“The consequences of such an intervention are the responsibility of the American-Zionist enemy and the countries that have made their territory available to the enemy base for these threats, ” Iran said.
Also, the Persian Gulf Waterway Authority says traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is currently not possible.
It said this is due to recent illegal movements of US military forces in the region, traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is currently not possible.
“As soon as stability and calm are established, all requests will be reviewed and the necessary permits will be issued according to the schedule,” the country said.
