The meeting was coming a few days after the president met with the governors of his ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), under the aegis of the the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF).

During his inaugural speech, the president made it clear that he would constantly consult stakeholders with regards to key decisions that affect the country.

While he has appointed Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff and Akume as his SGF, Nigerians are still waiting for the president to name his full cabinet.
