Events that have been decided at the ongoing 2024 Paris Olympic Games

1. ♻️Boxing – Men/Women🥊
Cynthia Ogunsemilore was PROVISIONALLY SUSPENDED after she tested positive for a bann£d substance ahead of her opening fight.

Nigeria’s🇳🇬 and African Champion, Olaitan Olaore was been defeat£d (5-0) in the men’s 92kg.

2. ♻️Table Tennis – Men/Women’s Singles🏓
Nigeria’s🇳🇬 and African Champion, Quadri Aruna🇳🇬 (lost 4-3) and Omotayo Olajide (lost 4-1) ARE OUT of the Paris 2024 Olympics Table Tennis Men’s singles category after first round.

Anuoluwapo Juwon Opeyori🇳🇬 BOWED OUT after losing his first and second Group match in Badminton Men’s singles category.

4. ♻️Football – Women⚽
The Super Falcons of Nigeria🇳🇬 ENDED their Olympics campaign with O point after losing all their 3 group stage matches.

5. ♻️Swimming Men/Women’s 50m🏊
Tobi Sijuade MISSED OUT on the next round of the Men’s 50m Freestyle as his 3rd position in a time of 23.34s. wasn’t really enough for him to progress to the semifinals.

The 16-year-old Nigerian🇳🇬 Beijing-Chinese🇨🇳 born swimmer, Adaku NWANDU MISSED OUT in the Women’s 50m Swimming freestyle final. She came 2nd in her heat with a time of 26.62seconds, but it WAS NOT one of the 16 fastest times that made the final.

6. ♻️ Athletics – Men/Women’s 100m🏃🏾‍♀️
Godson Oghenebrume is not in the line up for the Men’s 100m heats despite the fact that he qualified for the 100m

Favour Ofili was RULED OUT of the women’s 100m because the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) failed to register her name, despite the fact that she qualified.

Godbless MISSED OUT of the women’s 100m after finishing 6th in her Heat in a time of 11.33 seconds in Heat 7 of the Women’s 100m at the Paris Olympics

Rosemary Chukwuma of Nigeria finishes in 8th position in the 2nd women’s 200m semifinal 2 in a time of 11.39s.

7. ♻️High Jump – Women🧗
Temitope Adeshina did not progress to the FINAL of the women’s High Jump event after finishing 9th in Group B of women’s High Jump event with a jump of 1.88m

8. ♻️Athletics – Mixed 4X400m
Nigeria’s quartet of Samuel Ogazi, Ella Onojuvwevwo, Ifeanyi Ojeli and Patience Okon-George finished 4th in Heat 2 of the Mixed 4X400m relays in a time of 3:11.99 setting a new National record, though NOT ENOUGH to see them to the FINAL

9. ♻️ Discus – Women
The Nigerian🇳🇬 trio of Ashley Anumba, Chioma Onyekwere and Obiageri Amaechi have EXITED from #ParisOlympics2024 after the first round in women’s Discus.

10. ♻️Shot Put – Men
Chukwuebuka Enekwechi🇳🇬 finished the Shot put event in 5th position with a throw of 21.42m in the final at the ongoing 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
