Ilorin – The Kwara South Social Democratic Party Senatorial (SDP) candidate, Prof.Wale Sulaiman has called for unity and harmony among the people of Kwara State.
Sulaiman who is also the Asiwaju Ewe of Ajase Ipo made the call while felicitating with Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid el Kabir festival.
He urged the people to show love towards each other to engender a better society.
The SDP Senatorial Candidate particularly called on Muslims to seize the moment of the Eid-Al-Adha festival to pray for the country in this critical time of insecurity and economic downturn.
Sulaiman who is also the founder and President of the RNZ Foundation in the spirit of the festival gave out cash, rams and other items to royal fathers, less privilege Muslims, clerics, community elders and some SDP members in Kwara South Senatorial district
He explained that the humanitarian gesture was to let the beneficiaries have a memorable and joyous celebration.
