Minna – The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Dr Abubakar Dzukogi, has charged management staff to redouble their effort and contribute positivity to the development of the institution.
A statement issued in Minna said the Rector made the charge while addressing management committee of the institution.
The statement signed by his Special Assistant( SSA) on Media and communications, Abdulkadir Yahaya said
Dzukogi lauded the management staff for playing significant roles in changing the narratives of the institution.
He urged them not to relent in giving their best of services to the polytechnic.
The Rector then called on all stakeholders to continuously instill discipline in the system so as to prevent a breakdown of laws and order.
“If discipline is not entrenched in our activities here, it will lead to disorderliness and the institution will suffer it tremendously.
“So, it is therefore important for every Head of Department, Deans and others to ensure that rules and regulations are strictly adhered to and where there are breaches, adequate sanctions must apply, ” he said.
The Rector also commended the management committee for their diligence and hardwork throughout the period of recent re-accreditation exercise carried out by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
According to him, concerted efforts are being made to bring about reforms in the general administration of the institution to ensure productivity.
He, however, explained that poor funding has slowed down the pace of development in the institution. ((vitalnewsngr.com)
