Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has expressed shock over the sudden death of Hon. Hamza Ameuru, a former member of the Kogi State House Assembly.
Ameuru , who represented Okene II State Constituency from 2003 to 2007 died in Lokoja in the early hours of Monday, February 26, 2024 at the age of 66 years
Ododo, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Ismaila Isah, described the late lawmaker as a politician of good conscience, a community leader and a family man who was committed to the wellbeing of the people of his community.
The statement said the late lawmaker remained dedicated to the development of Ageva , his community , even after his term in office and until his death.
“Governor Ododo prayed Allah to grant the late lawmaker eternal rest in peace, and his family the fortitude to bear the loss,” Isah said.
Ameuru body was conveyed to his home town where he was buried Monday afternoon according to Islamic rites. (vitalnewsngr.com)
