The Director – General of Kogi State Special Task Force On Illegal Smuggling Of Fire Arms And Other Related C,rimes,  Friday Makama Sani has debunked rumour of his arrest by security agents.

Sani , made the denial on Friday in Lokoja while addressing journalists on his purported arrest.

The Chairman said he came personally to address the press conference so as to convince residents of the state that all what they are reading about his purported arrest were fake and lies.

He, however, said some chieftains of the APC heading to Igala -Mela Local Government where he hailed from were stopped at Itobe bridge by security agents.

Sani said the men were genuine members of the APC who were only travelling to their various communities in the local government to exercise their franchise in the governorship election holding tomorrow, Saturday, November 11, 2023.
