Kogi Council Of Ulamau’u Charges Christians To Emulate Jesus Virtues At Christmas

Lokoja – The Kogi State chapter of the Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria (COU) has called on Christians to use this auspicious Christmas season to call on Christians to adopt and sincerely emulate the lovely characteristics of Jesus Christ (Peace be upon Him), in all their affairs.

Alhaji Baba’ngo Idris, the
Administrative Secretary of the council in the state made the charge in a statement on Sunday in Lokojà.

The council enjoined all Christian faithfuls in the state in particular and Nigeria in general to always remember the country and its peace-loving people in their fervent prayers at all times with the hope of surmounting all the challenges facing the nation.

It also sued for the sustainability of the peace, harmony, unity and peaceful co- existence witnessed among the people of the state.

It commended them for keeping up this important virtues in our good people and wished all the people of the state a memorable celebration.(vitalnewsngr.com)
