The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has declared candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Ademola Adeleke as the winner of the governorship election held in Osun State on Saturday.
Adeleke defeated his closest challenger Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
The PDP’s candidate secured 403,371 votes defeating Oyetola, who trailed behind with 375,027 votes.
