The INEC has cancelled election in 67 polling units in Ogori-Magongo local government area of Kogi State.
The cancellation was due to failure to hold the election in the area.
The development attracted wild protest from residents.
“The election here has been cancelled. The protest has made the INEC officials call off their staff. In all polling unit in Ogori/Magongo local government.”
However, filled INEC election result sheets later surfaced in the community.
A man was arrested by residents for dropping the filled election result sheets from one polling unit to another.
A search in him and his bag led to the discovery if other result sheets and One mullion naira.
