A lady, Miss Dominion Okoro, has narrated how she used a stool to kill Mrs Maria Oredola Ogbinedon , the mother of former Governor Lucky Igbinedion of Edo State.

According to Okoro, she murdered the 85 year-old Mrs Igbinedion in the early hours of December 2 by hitting her on the head with a stool.

Okoro, who hailed from Calabar, Cross River State, perpetrated the act one year and three months after she was engaged as a domestic servant to the woman.

“ I killed mama (Madam Maria Igbinedion) in other to take her money. She did not offend me.

” While she was sleeping on her bed around 12:01 a.m. on December 2, 2021, I used a stool to hit her on the head while she was shouting for help; the gate man was the only person around but did not hear the shout, so mama later died.
