Damaturu – Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni has condoled the parents of five youth corps members who lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident on their way to the state from Jalingo, Taraba State.
A statement issued in Damaturu on Thursday by the Special Adviser on media to the governor, Mamman Mohammed said that the governor was shocked and saddened by the incident.
The corps members who are indigenes of Yobe State were travelling back to the state after their orientation exercise in Taraba State.
Buni described their death as tragic and painful, saying that their parents, friends and relations should accept the development as an act of God.
“It is painful losing these young men at their prime but as faithful, we have to accept it as the will of Almighty Allah which is destined to happen at this time,” he said.
The governor prayed to Allah to admit their souls into Aljannatul Firdaus and grant their families the fortitude to bear the loss.
It was gathered that four of the deceased were graduates of Yobe State University while one of them graduated from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State. (vitalnews)
