She also praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing him as the Chief Servant of the State who believes in infrastructure and human development.

According to the Manager, Kogi State Cash Transfer Unit, Mr Olorunmosunle Moses Kehinde, the Team pledged to work tirelessly to build a future where poverty is a distant memory and prosperity is a shared reality in Kogi State.

The team further reiterated its commitment to work vigorously with the government and other stakeholders towards the progress of Kogi State.

They expressed gratitude to the State Coordinator for her leadership and to the management of Tagpay and Mintyn Microfinance Banks for their collaboration.

The event highlighted the collaborative effort between the Kogi State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria to create a brighter future for the people of Kogi State.

One of the beneficiaries, Malama Saretu Umoru, expressed gratitude to the federal and state governments for the gesture.

She promised to invest her money in her Pap (Akamu) business and use part of the money to repair her grounding engine to make Akamu production easier for her.

Similarly, Malam Suleiman Yusuf Rufai expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the laudable program.

He stressed that as an entrepreneur, he would invest the money collected in his business for expansion.

The cash transfer program is a significant step towards achieving the goal of a poverty-free Kogi State.

The Kogi State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria are working together to make this vision a reality.

With the commitment and dedication of the team, it is expected that this program will have a lasting impact on the lives of the less privileged in Kogi State.
