Ibadan – Former Oyo State governor, Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala is dead .
Akala, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) died in Ogbomoso, his hometown on Wednesday.
Details of his death is still sketchy as at the time of this report morning.
He was to have returned to Ogbomoso from Abuja on Tuesday.
Born on June 3, 1950, at Ogbomoso in the Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Alao-Akala had his elementary school at Osupa Baptist Day School, Ogbomoso before proceeding to Kamina Barracks Middle School, 5th Battalion of Infantry in Tamale, Ghana. (vitalnews)
