The immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Okowa announced this decision in a statement on Wednesday.
Okowa in the statement addressed to his constituents informed them that he is embarking “on a new path”, indicating he is quiting PDP for a new party.
The former governor promised to disclose details of his “new path” in due course.
He, however, assured his constituents that he won’t move in the wrong direction.
