Lagos – Mr Jubril Mobolaji Lawal, has been appointed as the new Regional Executive/ Managing Director of Ecobank Nigeria.
Lawal’s appointment is ahead of the retirement of Patrick Akinwuntan, the bank’s current Managing Director, who will retire in January 2022.
A statement issued in Lagos on December 6 by ECO Bank Group confirmed the appointment of Lawal as the Managing Director designate of the sub-regional bank.
The statement was signed by Adenike Laoye, Head, Corporate Communications of Ecobank.
It, however, said that Lawal’s appointment was still subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
