The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, has appointed Most Senior Special Apostle Pastor Gabriel O. Kassim as its new Acting Spiritual Father.
Kassim, who serves as Chairman of the Church’s New York District, will assume the responsibility with immediate effect.
The appointment was announced by the Board of Trustees of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, at an extraordinary meeting held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at His Grace Vicarage, Galilee, Oyo State.
The decision followed the death of the church’s former Spiritual Father, Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, who died on July 30, 2026, at the age of 93.
In a statement issued by the Conference Secretary-General of the church, Senior Special Apostle Prophet Anthony Samaye, members were urged to give the newly appointed Spiritual Father the necessary support, cooperation and respect as he takes on the responsibility.
Samaye also called on members to remain united and committed to prayer, stressing the need for the church to continue upholding its leadership and advancing the work of God.
“The entire Church is enjoined to remain united in prayer and continue to uphold the leadership and the work of God,” the statement said.
The appointment is expected to provide continuity in the spiritual leadership of the church following the passing of Prophet Alogbo, who served as a prominent figure within the Ayo Ni O movement.
