Buhari Directs Ministers To Remain In office Till May 29

Abuja – President Muhammadu Buhari has directed his ministers to return to their offices and continue work till hand over date of May 29.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed made this known at a briefing, shortly after the FEC Valedictory session on Wednesday.

Many had expected that the president would dissolve his cabinet at the Valedictory Federal Executive Council Meeting which he chaired in Abuja today.

Even though the President had taken official pictures with the council, the Information Minister debunked news making the rounds that the Cabinet has been dissolved.

According to Alhaji Mohammed, the dissolution is fake news, he added that the ministers will work until the 29th of May.

Buhari had earlier presided iver the valedictory meeting of the Federal Executive Council in Abuja.

Buhari has prior to today’s FEC meeting directed Ministers to handover all official documents to permanent secretary in their ministry before attending the last valedictory federal executive council meeting today

Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and 44 ministers attended valedictory FEC Meeting.

The President also during the meeting swore in seven federal commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). (vitalnewsngr.com)
