Governor Yahaya Bello, of Kogi State has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima over their landmark victory at the Supreme Court.
Bello in a statement on Thursday said the Supreme Court judgment has finally laid to rest all electoral disputes stemming from the February 25, 2023 Presidential election.
” Supreme Court’s verdict is a resounding reaffirmation of the people’s choice, which signifies the enduring strength of Nigeria’s democratic institutions and the unwavering refuge the judiciary provides to ordinary citizens,” Bello said in the statement signed by his Chief Pres Secretary, Onogu Mohammed.
He emphasised the importance of the Supreme Court’s judgment, saying it upheld the popular will, vividly expressed during the elections.

reinforcef the fundamental value of credible and transparent electoral processes in our great nation. ”
Bello also congratulated the leaderships of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the Supreme Court victory.
He, however, expressed the optimism that the party will extend a hand of fellowship to other candidates that contested the election to work with President Tinubu for the collective good of the nation.
The governor expressed his unwavering confidence that the country under President Tinubu will continue to flourish and prosper in line with the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of the current administration.
