ARISE News Television Channel Anchor, Reporter and Producer, Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, fondly known as Sommie has been killed by gunmen in Abuja.
The 29-year-old journalist
lost her life in the early hours of Monday, September 29, 2025, during an armed robbery attack at her residence in Katampe, Abuja.
Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu was born on
December 26, 1995.
Hadiza Usman-Ajayi confirmed the killing of Sommie in a statement in behalf of the management media outfit.
