Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has approved N73,000 as the new minimum wage for civil servants in the state.
Aiyedatiwa announced this on Saturday while addressing supporters of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Ondo town, Ondo West Local government area of the state.
He also promised regular promotion of workers in the state, urging them to be more dedicated and committed.
The governor did not say when workers will start to enjoy the new payment.
