Abductors Of 16 Abuja Wedding Guests Demand N150mln Ransom

Abuja – The abductors of 16 wedding guests at Gwombe community in Gwargwada Chiefdom in Kuje Area Council of the FCT have called to demand for a random of N150 million.

The gunmen had on Saturday, December 10 waylaid a bus conveying the 16 wedding guests on their way from Abaji to Gwombe village and whisked them away.

A family member of one of the victims, who simply identified himself as Yakubu, said, “the leader of the gunmen called on Sunday with the phone of one of the victims and demanded N150million and switched off.

“He called on Monday morning and asked two of the victims to speak with the village chief in order to know they are alive.”

The Agabe of Gwargwada, Alhaji Hussain Agabi Mam, who confirmed the demand for N150milliin, said, “It was even the chief of Gwombe that called me this morning and informed me about the ransom demand.
