Abuja – The Federal Capital Territory Administration(FCTA)
has donated five new patrol vehicles to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The FRSC in a statement by Bisi Kazeem, Assistant Corps Marshal and Corps Public Education Officer confirmed the donation of the vehicles.
The patrol vehicles were handed over to the FRSC in Abuja on Thursdsy.
The Acting Corps Marshal of FRSC, Dauda Ali Biu, who received the vehicles at the national headquarters of the corps, commended the efforts of the FCT administration in enhancing the safety of lives and property on all roads within the nation’s capital.
He said the corps marshal “sent words of appreciation to the honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Muhammed Bello, following the donation of the five operational vehicles.”
Biu said the corps would ensure that the vehicles are maximally deployed for greater productivity, enhanced traffic flow and effective patrol operations.
