Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State is still keeping sealed lips over the sack of his over 200 aides.
Obaseki who took the decision of Wednesday did not hive any reason for his action.
This is causing disquiet among the rank and file of members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Obaseki on Wednesday announced the sack of all his commissioners, special advisers, senior special assistants, special assistants and others via a statement by his Special Adviser on Media Projects, Crusoe Osagie.
The statement said the termination of the appointments if the aides which took immediate effect.
The state’s cabinet was dissolved during the weekly executive council meeting on Wednesday.
The statement said Obaseki
expressed appreciation to members of the council for their service to the government and people of the State.
