Kano – Nine members of the Kano State house of Assembly on
Friday defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the
New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The defectors are believed to be loyalists of a former governor of the state, Rabiu Kwankwaso who also recently dumped the PDP for the NNPP.
They Isyaku Ali Danja; Lawan Hussain Chediyar ‘Yan Gurasa, Umar Musa Gama, Aminu Sa’adu Ungogo, Tukur Muhammad, Mu’azzam El-Yakub, Dawakin Kudu Constituency and Garba Shehu Fammar.
Others are Abubakar Uba Galadima and Mudassir Ibrahim Zawaciki.
The defectors cited crises rocking the PDP at state and national levels as the reason for their action. (vitalnews)
