The Zero Tolerance for Social Immoralities Initiative (ZETSI Africa), in partnership with key national youth bodies, has announced the third edition of its flagship national leadership development programme, Leadership Conference 3.0.

The three-day conference, scheduled for August 26th to 28th, 2025, will take place at the University of Abuja and the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.

With the theme “Exploring the Tools of Leadership to Curb the Rising Tide of Social Vices Among Nigerian Students”, the event is expected to draw 1,000 youth and student leaders from across Nigeria and other African countries.

Participants will receive intensive training in leadership ethics, civic engagement, and strategies to address campus challenges such as cultism, drug abuse, sexual harassment, cybercrime, and examination malpractice.

Chairperson of ZETSI Africa, Amb. Ibrahim Abdulrazak Imam, described the conference as “a bold step towards raising a new generation of morally responsible, value-driven, and purpose-oriented leaders who will champion positive change from within their communities.”

He revealed that the event would also mark the launch of the Students Against Immoralities Club (SAI-Club), a student-led movement designed to sustain ZETSI’s vision across tertiary institutions in Africa.

Highlights of the event include:
Expert-led leadership training sessions with facilitators from national security and anti-corruption agencies such as the Nigerian Police Force, EFCC, NDLEA, NSCDC, and JAMB.

A formal investiture and awards ceremony to honour distinguished personalities advancing youth development.

The inauguration of the pioneer executives of SAI-Club and the unveiling of its Campus Charter & Action Guide are also some of the events lined up.

According to ZETSI Africa, the expected outcomes of the conference include the nationwide establishment of SAI-Clubs, stronger collaboration between students and law enforcement agencies, and the adoption of a youth-driven framework for tackling social vices on campuses.

“This year’s conference is supported by the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagement, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), and the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN),” he said.

ZETSI Africa urged stakeholders, government agencies, and private sector partners to support the initiative through sponsorship and collaborations, stressing that “an investment in student leaders today is an investment in the future of our nation.
