The Youth Farmers Organization for Agricultural Development in Nigeria (YFOADN) has hailed Seven Up Bottling Company for playing a key role in the success of the First National Food Security Summit 2025 held in Abuja.
In a statement signed by its National President, Amb. Abdulrahman Umar Etudaye, the group said 7UP’s support added a major boost to the comfort and coordination of the gathering, which drew over 250 youth farmers, government officials, private sector players and development partners.
Etudaye said 7UP’s gesture reflects a clear commitment to national development and corporate responsibility.
He noted that the company’s involvement strengthened a platform dedicated to youth participation, agricultural innovation and reforms needed to build a sustainable food system.
“Their support is a sign that the private sector understands the urgency of empowering young farmers and shaping a stronger food future for Nigeria,” he stated.
He added that 7UP has consistently invested in community-oriented initiatives, describing its alignment with the country’s agricultural development goals as timely and commendable.
Expressing hope for continued collaboration, YFOADN said it looks forward to future partnerships with the beverage company on programmes that uplift communities, create opportunities for young people and advance food security nationwide.
The group extended its appreciation to 7UP, describing the company’s contribution as “a meaningful investment in a more food-secure and prosperous Nigeria.”
