World Tourism Day 2025 : ETF Backs Global Call For Sustainable Transformation

Eko Tourism Foundation (ETF) has joined the rest of the global community to celebrate the World Tourism Day 2025, with the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation”.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed,
Chairman, Board of Trustees and Governing Board Eko Tourism Foundation said in a statement on Sunday

“At the ETF, the theme of this year’s celebration resonates deeply with our vision to transform Lagos into Africa’s foremost tourism destination through innovation, inclusivity and sustainability.

“Tourism is a powerful driver of growth and job creation.

“Lagos, with its vibrant culture, festivals, nightlife, heritage and creativity, is uniquely positioned to lead Africa’s tourism renaissance.

“Together, we can make Lagos not just Nigeria’s commercial hub but also its tourism capital, where the world comes to experience history, culture, innovation and hospitality.

“Happy World Tourism Day!,” Alhaji Lai Mohammed said.
