Kogi State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal on Monday affirmed Ahmed Usman Ododo of the APC as the as duly elected governor of Kogi State.
The INEC had declared Ododo winner of the governorship election held in Kogi State on November 11, 2023 but the SDP and its candidate in the election, Muritala Ajaka, rejected the result and headed to the tribunal to seek redress.
The tribunal also struck out certificate forgery allegation against Ododo for lack of merit.
It rejected SDP witnesses and testimonies on over-voting case for lack of competence.
The Tribunal also struck out SDP BVAS expert testimony for falling-short of Evidence Act.
