Dr (Mrs) Emmanuel-Olowonubi Oluwakemi Mercy, a lecturer at the Federal University Lokoja, has been crushed to death by a trailer.
The lecturer was crushed to death on Wednesday at Crusher, Felele area, Lokoja.
Until her death, the late Dr Emmanuel-Olownubi Oluwakemi Mercy was a lecturer in the department of theatre arts of the university.
Consequently, the entire university community has been thrown into mourning after the tragic death of the lecturer popularly known as the mother of theatre arts.
The series of deaths reoccurring on this major road has been of great concern to students and citizens at large even.
Recently, the Kogi State government had banned trailers from plying the road during the day.
But this latest accident shows that the law is not being enforced by government.
