President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Kogi State born Folashade Arinola Adekaiyaoja as Deputy Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS).
The appointment, based on a recommendation from the Director General through National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
The appointment which
has been welcomed by many serving and retired DSS officers marks the first presidential approval for the role, aimed at improving the agency’s operations.
The DSS is organized to have three Deputy Directors General, and this appointment aligns with its established structure.
