The Supreme Court of Nigeria on Wednesday reserved judgment in an appeal filed by former Senate President, David Mark, over the leadership crisis in the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
A five-member panel led by Justice Mohammed Garba said the date for judgment would be communicated to counsel representing the parties.
The court adjourned after lawyers adopted their briefs and urged the apex court to grant their respective reliefs.
Mark’s appeal, marked SC/CV/180/2026, challenges the March 12 decision of the Court of Appeal, which dismissed his earlier appeal.
The appellate court had upheld the September 4, 2025 ruling of Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja, declining to grant injunctive orders sought in an ex-parte application filed by factional ADC National Chairman, Nafiu Bala Gombe.
