Sokoto – The Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Alhaji Aminu Muhammad Achida, has decamped from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Achida who announced his devidion of the house on Thursday later presented a letter of his defection to assembly.
Also, a member of the state House of Assembly, representing Wammako 2 Constituency, Murtala Bello Maigona, also on Thursday decamped from APC to the PDP.
The PDP is the ruling party in the state with Aminu Tambuwal as the state governor. (vitalnews)
